Enroll for the test only at the end of one of our local classes. Once enrolled, you will be emailed a study guide, a sample test, and 10 Tips to Test Taking.  The exam will be held at the locations and dates below.  This will be a paper test. For first time test takers, it is recommended to attend a class or online training prior to testing and review the study guide and sample test. The exam is 90 questions of multiple choice.  A score of 70% is required.  The results will be available within 7-10 business days.  Certificates at passing will be emailed.  Instant results available for additional fee.

                

 

If you can’t make the date and location of our one of our in-person classes for the exam, you can contact us for two testing options:

OPTION #1:

Take the test with a certified ServSafe proctor.  The cost will be $99 and it will be administered in or near Northridge, CA.  You will receive instant pass or fail results with the certificate sent in 48 hours if you passed the test with a score of 70%.

If you have been provided a test code by ServSafe, then you will only have to pay the $50 proctor fee. 

 

OPTION #2: 

 

We can arrange an online test that you can take from anywhere if your computer meets the requirements and you have a private location.   Your computer must have a web camera and microphone. Check compatibility here.

The exams are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.  The test proctors only speak English.

And because we want you to be successful, we will email you a FREE Study guide and sample test to everyone enrolled for testing.  If you choose this option, you will be sent instructions for taking the test within 24 hours.
